SPECIAL CALL MEETING MARCH 22, 2005

Be it remembered that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs met in a Special Call Meeting at City Hall in the City of Ocean Springs at 6:00 p.m. on March 22, 2005. Mayor Ainsworth presiding, Aldermen Jalanavich, McDonnell, Cody, Dalgo, and Gill were present. Also present was City Clerk Adrienne Howell.

Mayor Ainsworth called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

The Special Call Meeting is for the purpose of any and all matters pertaining to the authorization to proceed with a total not to exceed $12,000,000 of general obligation bonds for the purpose of public facilities, i.e. Police and Fire Safety Complex and various recreational facilities; and to authorize the bonding Attorneys and Governmental Consultants, Inc. to proceed with the preparation of the appropriate documents for a June 7, 2005 general election on the $12,000,000 bond issue.

Motion was made by Alderman Cody, seconded by Alderman Gill and unanimously carried to rescind any previous Notices to Proceed with the $1.6 million bond issue.

Motion was made by Alderman McDonnell, seconded by Alderman Cody to authorize the proper authorities to proceed with the preparation of the appropriate documents to present at the April 5^th, 2005 Regular Meeting for a bond issue not to exceed $11,000,000. The motion passed with Aldermen McDonnell, Cody, Dalgo and Gill voting Aye and Alderman Jalanavich voting Nay.

Motion was made by Alderman Cody, seconded by Alderman Dalgo, and unanimously carried to close the Special Call Meeting.
