RECESS MEETING OF JANUARY 8, 2004

A Recess Meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs was called to order by Mayor Ainsworth at 6:20 p.m. on January 8, 2004, at City Hall in the City of Ocean Springs. Present were Aldermen Jalanivich, Cody, Carvin, Dalgo and Gill, and Recording Clerk Patty Gaston. Alderman McDonnell was temporarily absent, and Alderman Lloyd and City Attorney Oscar Jordan were absent

Motion by Jalanivich, seconded by Carvin, to go into Closed Session to determine the necessity for an Executive Session.

VOTING NAY NONE

TEMPORARILY ABSENT AND NOT VOTING Alderman McDonnell

ABSENT AND NOT VOTING Alderman Lloyd

Alderman McDonnell was present at this time.

Motion by Jalanivich, seconded by McDonnell, to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters.

VOTING NAY NONE

ABSENT AND NOT VOTING Alderman Lloyd

The Recording Clerk announced to the audience that the Board had elected to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters.

The Executive Session began at 6:25 p.m. and ended at 7:35 p.m.

Motion by Cody, seconded by Jalanivich, to resume the Regular Session.

Motion by Cody, seconded by Jalanivich, to recess until 5:20 p.m. on January 12, 2004.
