REGULAR MEETING OF JULY 3, 2001

 

A Regular Meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs was called to order by Mayor Ainsworth at 6:00 p.m. on July 3, 2001, at City Hall in the City of Ocean Springs. Present were Aldermen Jalanivich, Lloyd, McDonnell, Cody, Carvin, Dalgo and Gill, City Attorney Oscar Jordan and City Clerk Adrienne Howell.

Supreme Court Justice Oliver Diaz, Jr. gave the Invocation.

Mayor Ainsworth led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Motion by Jalanivich, seconded by Gill, to adopt the above and foregoing Resolution.

Motion by Cody, seconded by McDonnell, to reappoint Oscar Jordan to a one-year term as City Attorney ending June 30, 2002.

Motion by Jalanivich, seconded by Dalgo, to reappoint Toups, Kendrick & Co. to a one-year term as City Auditor ending June 30, 2002.

Motion by Cody, seconded by Carvin, to appoint Mark Hare to a one-year term as Civil Defense Director ending June 30, 2002.

Motion by McDonnell, seconded by Cody, to reappoint Matthew Mestayer to a one-year term as City Judge ending June 30, 2002.

Motion by McDonnell, seconded by Dalgo, to reappoint Darryl Dryden to a one-year term as City Prosecuting Attorney ending June 30, 2002.
