A Recess Meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs was called to order by Mayor Ainsworth at 6:00 p.m. on August 30, 2001, at City Hall in the City of Ocean Springs. Present were Aldermen Jalanivich, Lloyd, Cody, Carvin, Dalgo and Gill, and City Clerk Adrienne Howell. Alderman McDonnell was temporarily absent.

Alderman Cody gave the Invocation.

Mayor Ainsworth led the Pledge of Allegiance.

(Amended Budget – FYE 2001)

Motion by Dalgo, seconded by Lloyd, to adopt the Amended Budget for FYE 2001 as presented.

(Property Insurance Recommendation)

Motion by Cody, seconded by Dalgo, to accept the above and foregoing recommendation and authorize payment of $27,609.00 to Lemon-Mohler Insurance Co., for property insurance on City buildings and to authorize payment of $1,005.00 to ICAT Managers for wind and hail coverage for the period of August 31, 2000 through August 31, 2001, subject to confirmation from the City Clerk that payment is legal.
